Our history tour starts at the Serranos Gate (Porta dels Serrans). It is one of the twelve gates which formed the ancient city wall. Declared of Historical and Artistic Interest, the monument is a magnificent example of Gothic architecture. Thanks to its location, you can see from its terraces one of the best panoramic views of the city.

After visiting the Serranos Gate, you will walk through the charming Plaza de la Virgen, an ancient little square of Old Valencia, that dates back to the Roman times. It is the heart of the city with a large fountain which represents Turia River.
